Big Walk coordinate decoder
Turn the two four-digit numbers on your HUD into a location you can actually walk to.
How the four digits work
- The first two digits are the vertical grid line. For 4166, take 41 — that is vertical line 41.
- The second pair is the horizontal line, so 1899 gives 18.
- The last two digits of each number are the sub-division inside that cell, which is what lets two nearby points in the same cell differ.
- The target is where the two lines cross — walk to the crossing, not to either number alone.
This is why coordinates read like 4166, 1899 or 3930, 1900: a big line number plus a small offset.
Known landmarks to check your answer against
| Landmark | Coordinates | Unlocked by |
|---|---|---|
| Map Room | 3560 / 1425 | Red Tower key chain |
| Red Tower | 3670 / 1400 | Red Tower puzzles |
| Green Tower | 3930 / 1900 | Green Tower puzzles |
| Chairlift station | 3950 / 1950 | Green Tower reward |
| Coordinate puzzle | 4166 / 1899 | Folding map + compass |
If the numbers look like nonsense
You most likely have not finished the Red Tower yet. The folding map and compass come out of the Map Room at the end of that chain, and without them the pair on screen has no readable grid. Finish the Red Tower, cut the key through all five cutters, then come back to the puzzle.
